Why we built this
Great learning material for children exists — it's just scattered, locked behind subscriptions, or wrapped in advertising built to keep kids scrolling. We wanted one calm, well-organized place where a parent could sit a child down and trust what came next.
So we built TheMiniKid around a simple rule: everything is free, everything is grade-appropriate, and everything is organized by the two things parents actually search for — a subject and a grade.
What's inside
Our library spans math, reading, science, writing, history and technology across Kindergarten to Grade 8. It includes teaching videos, illustrated storybooks, classic public-domain comics with a purpose-built reader, and comprehension quizzes that check a child genuinely engaged with the material.
Alongside the library, children get a dashboard of their own: a daily activity chart, XP and levels, streaks, a trophy shelf, and Mini Canvas for making their own books and comics.

Every video, book and comic is free. No paywalls, no trials, no upsells to unlock learning.
Safe by default

Our library is built on public-domain and openly licensed works, so we can share them freely.

For parents
Parents create the family account and add each child, so there is always an adult on the account. From the family dashboard you can see what each child studied, how long they focused, which subjects they favour, and how their XP is trending. We also email you a summary each week.
