Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of TheMiniKid. They're written to be readable — if anything here is unclear, just ask us.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using theminikid.com, you agree to these terms. If you are adding a child to your account, you agree to them on that child's behalf as their parent or legal guardian.
2. Who may use TheMiniKid
You must be at least 18 years old to create a family account. Children use the platform only through a child profile inside a parent's account. Children may not create their own accounts.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account, including activity by children you add. A child's 4-digit PIN is only a convenience for switching profiles on a shared device and is not a security measure — do not rely on it to protect anything sensitive.
Please tell us promptly if you believe someone has gained access to your account.
4. The service is free
Access to the learning library is free and we intend to keep it that way. Sponsorship and promotional placements are paid arrangements with organizations and are entirely separate from a family's access — no learning content is ever placed behind a payment.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to access another family's account or data; interfere with, overload or probe the platform or its infrastructure; scrape or bulk-download the library; manipulate XP, levels, streaks or leaderboard standing by any means other than genuinely using the platform; or upload anything unlawful, hateful, or inappropriate for children through Mini Canvas or any other feature.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will act quickly where a child's safety is involved.
6. Content in the library
Our library is built from public-domain and openly licensed works, together with material we create. Some content is embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube, and that platform's own terms apply to playback. If you believe something in our library infringes your rights or is wrongly categorized for its grade level, see our Copyright & Content Policy or email us and we will review it.
7. Creations made by children
Anything a child makes in Mini Canvas belongs to that child and their family. You keep all rights to it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store it and display it back to your family inside the platform. We will not publish a child's creation publicly without a parent's clear, separate permission.
8. Quizzes, AI features and accuracy
Some quizzes and our on-site assistant are generated by AI. They are helpful but not infallible, and they may occasionally be wrong. TheMiniKid supports learning; it does not replace a teacher, a curriculum, or professional educational advice.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change or remove features, and we may add or retire library content over time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TheMiniKid is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using TheMiniKid and ask us to delete your family account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken or where doing so is necessary to protect users.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will notify the parent on the account by email before any material change takes effect.
13. Contact
